Moody Family Great Futures Scholarship

This scholarship is open to all graduating senior Club members and Club alumni who have graduated high school within two years. Preference is given to individuals who have attended the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley for four or more years. One selected recipient will be awarded $7,500 to support their pursuit of a college degree, post-secondary education, or workforce training, and the scholarship is renewable for up to four years (a potential $30,000 total scholarship). This scholarship is paid in two equal installments. Half is paid in July and half in January, subject to proper documentation being submitted. BGC-CV will award one scholarship.

Moody Family Senior Scholarship

This is a rolling application process. To apply, ask your Club Director to nominate you.

This scholarship will automatically be awarded to every individual who is an active member of the Boys & Girls Club, graduates high school, is recommended by their Club Director and does not receive another Great Futures Scholarship. There is no formal application. Each selected recipient will be awarded between $350 - $500 (based on the number of applicants) to support educational opportunities after high school. The term “educational opportunities” should be viewed broadly and includes accredited four-year colleges and universities, two-year colleges and universities, technical schools, vocational schools, continuing education classes, professional certification and credential-granting courses and programs. This is a one-time scholarship not eligible for renewal.
