About the Upatoi Polo Cup


The Upatoi Polo Cup is a family-oriented event designed to help raise funds for programs that benefit over 2,500 children participating in our local Boys & Girls Clubs annually. Guests enjoy an afternoon of exciting polo matches, brunch foods, live music, a half-time show, and children's activities. 


Hosted by BGCCV Board Member and polo enthusiast Mr. John Flournoy, the annual Upatoi Polo Cup has benefited Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley for the last 19 years. Mr. Flournoy has held this event for over 45 years at his personal residence, Flournoy Farms, and has been a part of the BGCCV mission for over 50 years.

Returning this year, the event will host the Little CHEF - Big CHEF Brunch Competition, showcasing BGCCV's Workforce Development efforts. Club kids will team up with professional chefs to experience life in a professional kitchen, mentorship in culinary skills, and showcase their culinary creations at the event. Stay tuned for more information introducing the local 'Big Chefs' and 'Little Chefs' you'll have the exciting opportunity to meet at the event!

Upatoi Green Wins!

Congratulations to Upatoi Green, champions of the 46th Annual Upatoi Polo Cup, held Sunday, September 20, at Flournoy Farm.

The exciting day featured two polo matches, live music, family activities, a reverse raffle, and the third annual Little Chef-Big Chef Competition, making for a memorable afternoon of fun and competition in support of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley.

A special congratulations goes to Jake Flournoy, who was named this year’s MVP for his outstanding performance on the field.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley extends its sincere appreciation to all of our sponsors, volunteers, competitors, vendors, and guests who helped make the 2026 Upatoi Polo Cup a success. Their support helps us continue providing opportunities and life-changing experiences for Club Kids throughout the Chattahoochee Valley.



Congratulations to Tuesday’s Tacos & Burritos, the winner of the 3rd Annual Little Chef-Big Chef Competition, held Sunday, September 20, during the 46th Annual Upatoi Polo Cup at Flournoy Farm.


The competition brought together three local restaurants for a friendly culinary showdown, with each team showcasing its creativity and serving up delicious dishes for guests to enjoy. After the competition, Tuesday’s Tacos & Burritos took home the top prize.


A special thank-you goes to Ken Nugent Law Firm for sponsoring this year’s Little Chef-Big Chef Competition and helping make the event possible.


The competition also highlighted the workforce development opportunities available to teens at the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley. Teens from The CLUB Teen Center played an important role in preparing custom aprons for the competing chefs through their hands-on work in the Teen Center’s shop.
