The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley is helping teens prepare for life beyond high school—all at no cost. Through our teen programs, members have access to dual enrollment opportunities, work-based learning experiences, career certifications, college and career readiness programs, financial literacy, leadership development, internships, and mentoring from community professionals. Whether your goal is college, the workforce, the military, or starting a career, our Clubs provide the tools, experiences, and support to help you build a successful future. Best of all, every opportunity is completely free for teen members.

Work Based Learning
The Boys & Girls Club builds confidence and resumes for our members – preparing them for college and careers after high school. Every high school senior leaves our program with a plan for his/her future. Our evidence-informed curriculum provides students with early exposure to workforce readiness through Club activities, workplace experiences and community involvement – at every grade level.
Educational and Exploratory Programs
Career Launch: Teens assess their skills and interests, explore careers, learn job-search skills and prepare to join the workforce. Mentoring, job shadowing and training opportunities round out the program.
Diplomas to Degrees: Teens develop both short-and long-term goals and learn how to secure financial aid and support throughout the college experience.
LinkedIn Workshop: Teens start their professional online resume and learn how to use LinkedIn to network and look for jobs.
Money Matters: Teaching teens how to set goals, budgets, save and invest through both staff-led sessions and engaging digital tools and games.
Resume Writing Workshop: Teens start building their formal resume and translating Club, school and volunteer experiences into workplace skills.
Workforce Wednesday: Business and industry leaders visit a Club to educate Club members about a particular trade, job or industry.
College & Trade School Bootcamp: An intense, six-session bootcamp designed to kick start the application process for college and trade school.
College Tours: Middle and high school students visit colleges to explore the possibilities and learn how college works.
Workplace Tours: Middle and high school students visit businesses and work sites to explore the many career options available to them.
